Perfect Blue Thoughts....Obsession

I think about the anime perfect blue alot.  Perfect Blue Came out in 1997.

It is a psychological thriller.  IT has a Hitchcock feel to it.
Any way i have  a Mima Kirigoe tat on my left arm. I love this movie. I try not to say things like i am about to say, but new anime  really lacks plot sometimes. You take a movie like this and start to finish its amazing.
Today's thoughts are on that very subject. Every thing starts out good and after a while it loses something.  Those anime/manga  creators on the early 1990s to 2000 really had a love for the art. All you have to do is watch some of these old shows and movies to know that they are better.  Not all anime was about awkward high school kids.


 Obsession....that is what this movie is really about. I understand that being a fan boy. I can relate because when i get in to something i can really get in to it.  But there are different levels.

 Where is the line between hard core fan and murderer. Look at John Lennon from the beetles....look at Dime bag Darrell from Pantera.  It can be a scary thing. Crazy fans can get out of hand.

 I know that anime has changed my life in many positive and negative ways. Some times you have to stop and tell yourself that its fake and you cant expect that stuff in real life.   DO i could crazy yet...you bet it.

The stupidist thing ive ever seen. "How to buy manga"

I like "How to Draw Manga Books" I collect them.

 I ordered a bunch off of amazon and i really wanted one called "girls life".

I was so excited when it came in today until i opened the book and i saw that so stupid mother fucker took a black permanet marker and colored in ALL the semi nude pictures.

These books are not PORN. They are art. The figure and body of a woman is a beautiful thing.

It is the most beautiful thing in the world.

The pictures on the right are the pictures they colored in.

Here is what i think happened.

A kid buys a book from a store with his parents and they see the light nude photos and take a marker to it.

I am so beyond pissed about this. I messaged the person on amazon but this is just so retarded.

If i was a parent i would not do it.  Now if i found a hustler under my kids bed i would take it away but i would not take his art book.

Now i have to send it back and order another one it will take weeks!

Rurouni Kenshin Kaoru Wrist Band!

Being a full grown man of 26 years old....I should not have bought this.

I was at a small video game shop today getting my wife a new game for her DS.  This was hanging behind  the counter. Paid a few bucks for it

ITS KAORU! 

So yeah im never taking it off.

I wish i could  have all the the characters i love on wrist bands and i can wear a different every day.

My new Tat im getting....osaka!!!!!!!

I am getting this on my chest next to faye valentine. IM getting it tomarrow.  Why did i choose this one,  because my faye valentine tat has her smoking right after she woke up.

Lol  osaka is one of the best characters ever. She is spaced out like myself.

Missing Anime Family....Quite A Epidemic

I was sitting here thinking this evening about all the anime characters family that i have been introducted to that all ended up missing at some point in time.

Sailor moons brother sammy. You see him in the start and ever again.

The list could go on forever.  It appears that way in american tv as well. I know A popular early 90's show was "Family Matters" where one of the sisters  in a early espsoide goes up the stairs to do something and never returns. Talk about lazy.

But anime writers dont even do that. Your so preoccupied with sailor moon and luna that you forget that little sammy ever existed. I am using the american name for her brother because i cant recall what the japanese name is.....im a bad anime fan.

Maybe all the forgotten family need to band together as evil villains.  I would watch that.

Gate Keepers? Well Maybe..

 I have started watching Gate keepers last night.

I have just started on stack of anime that total hours is some where around 2,500 hours. I could not watch it over the years do to a traveling job. My foot is broken and i cant leave the house. I have time.

Any way I bought this years and years ago i blew the dust off and put it in.

I like it.  I am only on esp 4.  I will say that there is some anime or manga that i took to really fast  or "Fell in love"....like azumanga daioh...I fell in love with azumanga daioh fast.

That does not mean any thing though. Im just sayin it too early to say if i really really like this anime.

I like the plot, its old school.

 Plus it takes place in 1969.  It is place back in history.  That is pretty cool.

Evil is trying to hurt there town and the gate keepers have to stop it. At this point at they are gathering there team.

This plot and the way the story is unfolding reminds me SO MUCH of sailor moon that it is not even funny.
I consider myself a sailor moon expert. I have seen every esp.  6 times...lol like i should be proud of that...

There gathering of the team is just like they did in sailormoon. 

I have to say that the characters are sweet. There is this girl that plays paino and it really cool. I am not going to say very much right now.

I will post more later about this anime. I am excited to watch some more.
